Vent Specification Instructions

• All closed-top tanks require a vent of equal or greater size than the largest inlet or outlet.
• If tanks are being loaded by air pressure the vent size must be adequately designed to prevent over-pressurization and potential failure. Hold-down lugs must also be in use.
• Precautions must be taken to avoid vacuum.
• All Design Tanks products are designed for atmospheric pressure only and require proper venting.
• Contact Design Tanks with any questions concerning the adequacy of the venting system.
